Designed for an expanding business in Southern Maine this new facility enables our client to be able to develop, distribute and sell a variety of products. The facility includes manufacturing space, a retail store, office and support spaces. Strategic planning was developed to respond to the intricate nature of their manufacturing process ensuring proper flow from space to space.
Aesthetically the exterior is meant to evoke vernacular imagery of buildings seen along many of Maine’s working waterfronts. With an eye to future growth and expansion KRA was tasked with developing several prototypes each featuring similar palettes of materials and imagery.
